Educational Qualifications
To be eligible for the position, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Junior Engineer: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Civil / Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Instrumentation and Control / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Tools and Machining / Tools and Die Making / Automobile / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
- Depot Material Superintendent: Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University / Institution.
- Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
- Chemical Supervisor (Research): Degree or its equivalent in Chemical Technology from a recognized University / Institution covering any one or more of the following fields: a) Petroleum Products, b) Paints and Corrosion Prevention c) Polymers. Knowledge of any computer language will be essential.
- Metallurgical Supervisor (Research): Degree or its equivalent in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University / Institution. Knowledge of any computer language will be essential.

Salary
The selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per government rules.
- (i) Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA): Level 6 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of ₹35,400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.
- (ii) Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor / Research Level 7 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of ₹ 44,900/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.
